Welcome to the San Francisco HTML User Group (also known as THE Largest HTML5 User Group in the World)!

We are enthusiasts of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related cutting-edge web technologies. We meet monthly with the industry's leading experts who talk about, present, and demonstrate the latest concepts, features, APIs (you name it!) in this cool new world, and answer all your burning questions. Our past speakers have included such HTML5 superstars as Paul Irish, Bruce Lawson, Steve Souders, Giorgio Sardo, Brad Neuberg, and Rob Hawkes.

We enjoy FREE food and drinks from our generous sponsors and encourage members to meet before and after the presentation to mingle and meet other HTML5 enthusiasts. We also include a brief "lightning talk" session at the end of each event, where members can (succinctly) share their current HTML5-related projects.

We meet in San Francisco, typically on the last Thursday of each month. The venue changes, but is usually located near CalTrain and other public transportation. If you can't make it, you can always catch us via a live video stream or later, on recorded video. Follow us on Twitter (@sfhtml5) to learn about emerging trends, prize drawings, and upcoming events.
